Since 1974, Carpet Mart has helped Louisville families choose flooring with confidence.
Originally founded as Carpet Guild USA, the business became Carpet Mart under Mike Fish, who built its reputation on one simple belief: Always Do the Right Thing. More than 50 years later, that commitment continues to define who we are.
While many local flooring stores have become part of national chains, we’ve remained proudly locally owned and operated. As our customers’ needs evolved, we grew from Louisville’s trusted carpet source into a full-service flooring destination offering hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl, and carpet.

This was the second time we’ve used Carpet Mart for our carpeting needs and once again couldn’t be happier. We needed a custom carpet cut and the results are perfect.
