Waterproof flooring refers to topical protection. PureTech is made with WetProtect offering complete waterproof protection. But if water comes in under your floor or if you have a significant water event, you should expect to replace some or all of the flooring. The reason being is you will have to disassemble the floor to dry underneath and typically the boards will not be able to be re-assembled.

PureTech is 3X more scratch resistant than traditional Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) but is not as scratch resistant as laminate floors.
